The Bronx Brewery, the latest brewery to come out of New York City, brings you the Bronx Pale Ale. After a year of intense recipe development and testing in the up-and-coming South Bronx neighborhood of Mott Haven, commercial production of the flagship beer began in August 2011. Given the excitement generated by early test batches, The Bronx Brewery is excited to release its beer to the NYC beer community.

The Bronx Brewery team comes from diverse walks of life – a former athlete, a graphic designer, a marketer, and a master brewer – but they have two things in common: a maniacal focus on creating high-quality beer and a passion for the Bronx.

Its traditionally-crafted flagship ale uses only premium and minimally processed ingredients to create a fresh, bold taste from a borough known for its own bold individual character. **The Bronx Pale Ale : This deep amber, American-style pale ale is brewed with five different barley malts, generous additions of Cascade and Centennial hops, and a unique strain of yeast.

The British, German and American malts used provide a blend of caramel, biscuit, and nutty malt flavors. The hops provide a gentle, pleasant bitterness with an intense floral and citrus aroma. It is dry-hopped, unfiltered and unpasteurized.

What sets the Bronx Pale Ale apart from the crowd? Size: We’re small and proud of it. The Bronx Pale Ale is hand-crafted in small batches so we can take our time to carefully manage every step of the process.

Superior ingredients. We painstakingly selected premium barley varietals from world-renowned maltsters in Britain, Germany and the United States and our whole hops come from a specialty hop farm in Oregon that had been family-owned for five generations.
