Don Mateo Wines are produced in the Curicó valley, one of the prime growing areas of Chile.
The vineyards and winery started as a "labor of love" by three international entrepreneurs and connoisseurs of fine wine. One of the partners, Mateo, lives in Chile and supervises the single source winery and production, engaging the most gifted international winemakers.

OUR INSPIRATION
We take our inspiration from the Moai (pronounced mo-eye), the monolithic human figures painstakingly carved from rock on Easter Island off the coast of Chile.
They look to the land, the sea and the sky – critical to the making of our wine. They remind us of our founders and their commitment to excellence. And, they inspire us to produce our wines with passion and craftsmanship.
